Home Approach
How we work
Whole person, in proportion
Body, mind and daily life are connected. Our approach gives each its proper weight, the way the golden ratio balances a whole and its parts.
Your consultation, step by step
- 1
Listen
An unhurried first conversation about your history, concerns, sleep, stress, work and family life. A first consultation takes from about 15 minutes to two hours, depending on your concerns.
- 2
Understand
We look at the whole person: body, mind, habits and circumstances, and how each affects the others.
- 3
Plan
Together we agree a plan that fits your life and works alongside the care your doctor provides.
- 4
Support
Education and practical mind-body skills, such as relaxation, breathing and mindfulness, through Similia and RIMS.
- 5
Review
Follow-up visits check what has changed in your sleep, energy, function and wellbeing, in your own words.
Our principles
Whole-person health
The U.S. National Institutes of Health’ integrative-health center describes whole person health as “looking at the whole person—not just separate organs or body systems.” We share that view.
Shared decisions
You stay in charge. We explain options and limits in plain language, and plans are agreed, not imposed.
Alongside medical care
We never ask you to stop prescribed medicines. We encourage you to keep your doctor informed of everything you use.
Safety and referral
Warning signs are taken seriously. When something needs a doctor, a test or a hospital, we say so clearly.
Privacy and dignity
Records are confidential, and everyone is treated with respect, whatever their background.
Measured, not promised
Instead of promising results, we ask you to rate your own sleep, energy, pain interference and wellbeing over time.

Honest about the evidence
We believe patients deserve the full picture. The U.S. National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH) states that “there’s little evidence to support homeopathy as an effective treatment for any specific health condition” (2021). Health regulators, including the U.S. Federal Trade Commission, expect any health claim to rest on competent and reliable scientific evidence.
That is why this website makes no treatment claims, why our care is offered alongside conventional medicine, and why we are building a research program to measure the outcomes people actually experience. Some mind-body practices, such as relaxation, mindfulness, yoga and tai chi, have growing research support for stress, sleep and certain kinds of chronic pain; we summarize that research on the Result page.
Mind and body, together
Body
Sleep, movement, food, pain and energy: the physical side of how you feel each day.
Mind
Stress, worry, mood and attention, and the habits of thought that shape them.
Life
Work, family, community and meaning: the setting in which health is lived.
